DURAG: A SECRET BEHIND YOUR MANS 360 WAVES
360 or brush waves have become a common hairdo for most men across the globe. It is a cool and professional way of embracing ones short course, kinky and coiled hair types.
Durags are special scarfs that are worn after a hair treatment procedure, they come in different brands and types including dint satin, leather, silk or velvet.
Brushing and Styling the 360 wave is not simple as it may seem. Patient and time is needed to get good results.
Hair should be trimmed to less than 1.05 inch to ensure that the waves are formed, long hair results into misshaped waves.
There are different ways of waving ones here including the wolfing technique which is done two weeks after ones hair cut and the waves with fade which allows one to choose the boldness of the haircut depending ok ones preferences.
Products You Need to Have
- Hair wax or cream
- Brush
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Durag (silk or satin)
Procedure
- wash your hair with the shampoo (make sure that the hair is one and a half inch below) snd rinse it with cool water
- Apply the hair wax to the hair before brushing it
- Using a brush, brush the hair forward, sideways and backwards (use a mirror to see the back side)
- After brushing then put the durag on for half an hour or when sleeping to make sure that the wave patten created is not ruined
- After removing the cap, brush your hair again
Maintaining the 360 waves to stay longer requires one to avoid frequent washing of the hair and encourage rinsing instead.
The process doesn’t require very much effort just a little persistence and patience and the results will be surprising.
