Knotless braids are becoming a braids style for almost every lady across the globe.

The pros of knotless braids being maximum hair growth, styling flexibility, they carry less weight and once plaited they can be styled immediately due to less pain.

Knotless braids are different from random box braids as they have a unique style of planting. Hair is infused mid-braid to create a natural braid style ( makes the braid look like one’s natural hair).

Rose Malekwa a hair stylist at Ceecee’s Salon says knotless braids are a better option they put less stress on the scalp.

“ These braids also help prevent traction alopecia which is a disease common in women who usually install braids that are too tight with large knots which results to hair loss,” she adds.

Knotless braids take a long time  for one to finish braiding but its worth the health of the scalp and hair.

The time spent in the salon depends on the quantity of hair one has. The thickness of the braids and the length of the braids. Long braids will take longer than short braids.

Knotless braids can last up to 2 to 3 months if the hair is natural and course, if the person is taking good care of them and if the braids are not so large in size because large knotless braids easily loosen up than small or medium sized.
